The Inspection Department is responsible to provide the District's customers with professional services in the fields of construction inspection, infrastructure standards administration and USA DigAlert mark out services (facility and pipe location).

Inspectors approve and inspect private development construction projects for the public including meters and fire services. Inspectors provide the District's Capital Facilities Department with professional supervision of CIP projects throughout the construction process.

The Inspection Department takes pride in their ability to resolve project issues with integrity, efficiency, and timeliness while ensuring a quality work product is produced within the District in accordance with the approved plans, Vallecitos Water District's Standards, Specifications, Approved Materials and Vallecitos Water Board Ordinances.
