At Vallecitos Water District service reliability may include a well-versed staff maintaining and building state of the art distribution facilities, but everything really starts with encouraging responsible water use so that this valuable, natural resource remains readily available in the future.

This is achieved with an all-encompassing school education program that includes traditional classroom presentations to field trips to local parks to expand water awareness knowledge.

Students may learn about water quality, water conservation, water science, water distribution, water history, local climate, water current events, gardening, native habitat and plants, the water cycle, or more!
