Fees and Deposits:
The Bond and Fee letter provided during the plan check process outlines payment requirements. Please refer to Vallecitos Resolution #1441 for the timing of payment of Water and Wastewater Capital Facility Fees. A portion of the fees can be deferred until the issuance of Building Permits*.

• Water & Wastewater (Sewer) Capital Facility Fees
• Inspection Deposit (page 4, section 3.1)
• Engineering Fees 
• Outstanding Account Balances
• Checks: Vallecitos Water District (VWD),  mailed or delivered to Attn: Engineering - 201 Vallecitos de Oro, San Marcos, CA  92078

Timing of Fee Payments 

Single Family Residential (SFR - single lot):
Water and Wastewater (Sewer) Capacity Fees are due prior to final building inspection and/or utility release.

Subdivisions – Parcel Maps ≤ 5 parcels:
Water and Wastewater (Sewer) Capacity Fees are due prior to final building inspection and/or utility release for each building.

Subdivisions – Final Maps > 5 parcels:
Water and Wastewater (Sewer) Capacity Fees are due prior to final building inspection and/or utility release for each building.

Condos/Multi-family/Commercial/Industrial (master meters):
Water Capacity Fees are due prior to final building inspection and/or utility release of the first unit or building (regardless of the number of units).
Wastewater (Sewer) Capacity Fees are due prior to final building inspection and/or utility release for each building permit per phase (as approved by District).

Condos/Multi-family/Commercial/Industrial (individual water meters & sewer laterals):
Water and Wastewater (Sewer) Capacity Fees are due prior to final building inspection and/or utility release of each building per lot or phase (as approved by District).

Hotels/Motels:
Water and Wastewater (Sewer) Capacity Fees are due prior to final building inspection and/or utility release for any building within the project.

* Standard meter unlock/lock fees may be applicable on deferred capacity fees.
