When all corrections and comments have been addressed to the satisfaction of the Vallecitos Water District, final plans can be presented for signature and approval by the District. When the plan check is completed the developer or engineer will be provided with final plan check instructions for plans, agreements, bonding and other financial requirements.

The Engineering Technician will provide in the completion package back to the developer or engineer:

• Final Plan Check Comments - Instructions
• Documents and Agreements required for signature and/or notarization.
• Fee and Bond letter

Documents and Agreements that may be required at the completion of the plan check process may include but are not limited to:

• Construction Agreements
• Grants of Rights-of-Way (Easements) Agreements
• Reimbursement Agreements
• Encroachment Agreements
• Fees and Bonds - refer to the Document Library page for current information.
  • Engineering Fee Ordinance
  • Timing of Collection of Water and Wastewater Capital Facility Fees Resolution
• Mylar approved and signed by the Fire Department.
• Note a set of original as-built mylars will be required to be submitted for Final Acceptance for District improvements.          Please check with lead agency as two copies may be necessary to meet all agency requirements.

Upon Approval of the Construction Agreement submittal requirements will include:

• Four Bond Copies of Approved Plans for print package.
• Electronic Files (Dropbox) of Approved Plans - PDF files with print package.
