All improvements are to be inspected by Vallecitos Water District inspectors. The Vallecitos Inspection Department is required to accept certain improvements into the District's system. These improvements will be maintained by Vallecitos Water District. District inspectors also evaluate private connections into the District's system to make sure they meet or exceed all of the District's Standards. The following items must be completed for a project to be accepted into the District:

Facilities Construction
Facilities must be constructed to the satisfaction of the District Inspector.
Please refer to Inspection General Requirements.

District Meter Sheet
Meter sheet must be completed with required information for project including: Lot #, Address, Meter #, Serial ID #, Meter Size, Meter Status, HGL and APN information.

Compaction Certification
A letter of certification must be submitted for trench compaction, minimum of 90%.

Labor and Material Record (sample):
A list of the actual costs to the contractor for the construction Labor and Materials for the water/sewer pipeline improvements must be submitted to the District.

Warranty Bond
The warranty bond (25% of the original performance bond) must be posted.

As-Built Photo Mylars
The Original as-built photo mylars with signatures and DWG electronic files via Dropbox (AutoCAD latest version) and PDF, in accordance with the District's CAD Standards and Guidelines, must be submitted to the District. Please note if the Lead Agency (City/County) requires original mylars as well you will need two copies.

Water Service Agreements and/or Reimbursement Agreements
Executed copies of the agreements must be on file with the District. (as applicable)

Final Maps
A copy of the recorded final map and subdivision map as applicable must be submitted to the District.
