ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT

The Engineering Department at the Vallecitos Water District is comprised of Development Services, Inspection, and Capital Facilities.  The goal of the Development Services and Inspection Departments is to review local development plans, assist developers, engineers, and private property owners through the approval, installation, and inspection process of new water and sewer facilities. The Capital Facilities Department is responsible for the planning, design, construction, and mapping of Vallecitos Water District's infrastructure.  This includes the implementation of the District's Master Plan for planned growth.   The department's goal is to manage capital projects efficiently to ensure District standards are achieved within budget and mapped accurately for future reference.

Office hours: Monday through Thursday, 7:30 am - 5:30 pm, Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. excluding major holidays. 

Inspection hours:  Monday through Thursday 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Friday 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
